Weird Word of the Week

Suitshark: (n) a derogatory nickname for a lawyer.

Example sentence:

“After a lifetime spent reading his works, Harold Bloom claims to only know three certainties about Shakespeare’s personality: he lusted after both sexes, he liked to drink more than he liked to eat, and he hated suitsharks.”

  1. Ha ha! Love that you quoted Bloom. I met him when he did a lecture at a college in Miami and got him to autograph my copy of “The Book of J.” Thanks for the post. Cheers!
