After twelve months of editing, proofreading, and fretting, Humboldt: Or The Power of Positive Thinking is officially on the market!
So far, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Advanced Reader Copies have garnered some great reviews, blurbs of which appear on the book’s online headquarters. (To access this headquarters, just click the above image.)
And here’s a response that doesn’t appear on the webpage: just this afternoon, I received a handwritten letter from Dylan’s Cafe in Vermont. (Music fans will recognize this cafe as chez Neko Case.) During my pre-publication press blitz, I mailed a press release to Dylan’s. The letter I received thanked me for the press release and mentioned that, while currently on-tour, Neko had been informed about my novel and wished me the best of luck. Whoa, Neko Case knows about my novel? Hearing that sparked deep red bells a-ringing in my heart!
